I am a Holistic Nutritionist in private practice in Newport Beach, California and have always been passionate about nutrition. I made my children’s baby food from scratch and continue to cook and create healthy, nutritious food. I believe that we should eat more for survival and less for sport, more from the farm and less from the factory. I firmly believe that the body can heal itself with whole foods we obtain from the earth. I see it in my office every day.

The Newport Beach Cleanse was created because I know how important it is to rid the body of toxins that build up, especially in this day and age, when we are subjected to so many chemicals in our foods, household products, and cosmetics. My clients range from people with a wide array of health issues to people who simply want to lose weight. I use whole food cleansing in my practice as the first course of action for most of my clients and am continually amazed at its impact on the thousands of my clients, as well as my loved ones. I couldn’t find anything on the market that was organic, non-GMO, and gluten, dairy and soy free, which spurred me to create the Newport Beach Cleanse so everyone could have access to a healthy, safe, and delicious way to cleanse. This is not a diet; rather, it’s the perfect kick-start to a healthy lifestyle! I live this way, as do my family and clients and I can confidently say that it feels wonderful to lead a life of health and vitality!

Bob Groux, Co-Founder & CEO

Co-founder and Risa’s transformed husband, Bob Groux oversees sales management, distribution and marketing strategy. Bob has over 25 years of experience in the consumer packaged goods industry and has launched dozens of name brand products throughout the United States. He was responsible for introducing and building the Snapple® Brand in Texas and Southern California and positioning Orange County, California as the number one per capita consumption market for Snapple.

Lori Igel, Vice President

Lori Igel is responsible for the Newport Beach Cleanse day-to-day management of finance, marketing and social media strategy implementation. With over fifteen years in the consumer packaged goods industry, Lori has managed new product development, marketing, finance and production for a number of brands. Her experience also involves Regional and National brand introductions and their related brand development (concept, formulation, packaging, branding) along with multi-channel marketing campaigns including public relations, direct mail, in-store sampling, radio, outdoor and social media programs. Prior to entering the CPG industry, Lori worked for Ernst & Young, where she served in the Consulting Division.

Lori enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and daughter and learning about making healthy food choices on a daily basis—despite her affinity for sweets. Lori holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and an M.B.A from Colorado State University.

Andrew Park, Operations Manager

Andrew Park, Operations Manager

Andrew Park oversees the Newport Beach Cleanse business operations. His primary responsibilities include e-commerce, financial, and supply chain management. Prior to joining Newport Beach Cleanse, Andrew took charge of finance and operations for Gunpowder Inc., an organic tea and juice brand.

He lives an active lifestyle and enjoys spending his free time playing basketball, hiking, and eating great food. Andrew graduated from the University of Southern California, Marshall School of Business with concentrations in Finance and Entrepreneurship.

Leigh Griffith, Marketing and Customer Service Manager

Leigh Griffith, Marketing and Customer Service Manager

Leigh has worked in the CPG industry for close to thirteen years and has extensive experience in customer service, marketing and administrative support. Among her many duties, Leigh assists with Newport Beach Cleanse customer service, manages various aspects of production, logistics, distributor/supplier relations and provides marketing and sales support.
